After reading counterfeit Son to page 36, many sequences of events have occurred. The beginning of the book was a bit confusing because all these sequence of events occur at one time and explain so much about Hank Miller and Cameron with the serial killing of little kids. At first with the identity match event, I thought he was going to get caught but luckily he remembered the article of the Lacey family by heart to bolden the relationship with the two strangers he had never met before, the mother and father. Overall, so far 1/5th way to the book I think this book is very interesting and unique. This book has many cliff hangers at the end of the chapters with Detective Simmons suspicion in the way.

1. When the author wrote "If you do, they'll see how bad you are. They'll take you away and lock you up, and you'll find out what punishment really is" in the beginning of the book meaning that if he makes a little mistake about this while scheme of entering a random family and what had happened over the "six" years that he had been with Hank he would have a lot of consequences of this act he is taking part of. Then, at pg. 35 he talks about how his Pop's words not really true because Cameron thought his new father would punishment him but actually felt sorrow for him. This passage is also important because with Detective Simmons thinking he isn’t really Neil Lacey, at the hospital, this shows when he leaves the hospital to go home, that he’s farther away from getting caught as a false child.

2. I can connect to this book and these events with a movie. I also have watched a movie when a child who wasn't really a child with this very rich family come in and try to live with them until he’s old enough to go on his own with wealth by his side.

3. Being only at page 36. Only showing background information, there isn’t really a point to understand, more just to show what’s going on in this book and showing on what will happen on the book and what to predict for, but in my point of view I think that Cameron is soon going to get caught revealing that he is indeed Hanks son resulting in a major consequence. But, this shows a message to never be dishonest with anything and especially big things such as this because if Cameron gets caught as Hanks son he will have to face many consequences.

4. While reading this book, in my opinion I find this book very exciting because at pg.36 now he’s going home, meeting his new sister and brother, barely knows anything about this family and with this cliff hanger I think the book is exciting because continuing with the book, this will show how Cameron survives or tries to survive with his new family with the Lacey’s.

After reading up to page 40, I thought this book was very interesting. At first I was very confused because I didn't really understand what was happening. It began when cameron showed up to the police station. He claimed that he was Neil Lacey (A child who his father kidnapped), but in reality he was Cameron Miller, Hank Miller's son who was the kidnapper. At first I was saying "who is that" and "what do they have to do with the story". so then I went back to read the prologue and it made more sense. So things made much more sense and I got really interested in the book and I just couldn't stop reading, so this book really grabs your attention.

Basically this book is about a boy named Cameron Miller and his dad is kidnapped and kills kids aswell. So after a police shooting Cameron's father gets killed and he is all on his own. So Cameron wanted a normal life and decided to be a boy named "Neil Lacey". He picked him because it seemed that Neil lived a normal life with a wealthy family. After going to the police station he was sent to the hospital and given many examinations to see if he was the real Neil Lacey. He then went home with his parents where it seemed like it was normal and he began to enjoy life, and that is where I left off.

Armon Saeedvafa- so far I have read up to page 50 and so far this book is full of suspense and action in literally every passage. One of my favorite parts was when they throw the party for him. The fact that this book is about a person who is living someone else’s life guarantees that there is action, suspension, and drama in every page. I personally enjoy this book, because it has a good plot and it is packed with action. I can’t stand books that are full of pretty much nothing but unnecessary description (For example the book “the Uglies”). I also think that the plot is creative and realistic. I don’t really like fantasy books, because they are lame and make no sense. I would write about a bad part of the book, but I can’t because there is no bad part. Another part of the book that I liked was how Cameron studied the articles on the Lacey’s like a test to help prove that he was Neil. This book is really exiting and every one should want to read it.

Armon Saeedvafa- I read up to page 90 in "counterfeit son" and the book gets more interesting by the page, because after each page you read you read about the difficulties that Cameron must face everyday as he pretends to be Neil Lacey. In chapter eight Diana and Neil go out sailing and she talks to Neil about why he did what he did at the mall when he was eight. I like this part of the book, because it explains more about Neil's past and help me understand this story a lot more. This story is very unique and its plot is interesting, how a boy with a life of beatings and strict rues and punishments and a life that is full of fear goes into a rich family's home with 2 annoying spoiled kids were life is full of privileges and lame punishments like being sent to your room. To Cameron thats a privilege. To Cameron stuff always come with very hard work, except his dad does not give it to him. To the Lacey's even if they don't ask for it they get it. So the transition and gap between these two lives make the story very interesting.

Continuing the book the book gets more interesting yet throughout the whole book its tense with fear and suspense. Some suspicion occurs with Diana and she also gets angry. Also Cameron is having difficulty trying to stay in the Lacey’s family because he doesn’t now what Neil liked and keeps screwing up every time Will he stay in the family, or get arrested by the cops?

1. When the author wrote "will they notice?" This general statement Cameron says when going to sleep fears him because he’s showing no sign of Neil from the riddles Stevie says, or the clothes he chooses from the mall, or even what syrup his mom asks he keeps messing up showing no sign of Neil. I think so far in this book Neil is surviving but i have to read ahead to find out if he does stay.

2. I can connect to this book with a movie i have watched when a child is kidnapped and is found back1 year later. Since the time period of being kidnapped was so short and the child was at age 13 he remembered much, much more than Cameron even though Neil has been lost for 6 years. I can also connect to this by the way both have acted when both had come back from a lost area.

3. So far, in the book Neil doesn’t get caught but i think the lesson to remember is honesty and to be honest because so far in the book Cameron just tries to stay in the family until he’s 18 but if he gets caught while in that house, he will go to juvenile. Honest is the point trying to get across for me because of my thoughts of the conclusion to the ending of the book.

4. This book is very suspenseful and you can’t let go of it. This book is also interesting because it is unique about a boy actually surviving with a luxurious family which he never met before.

Armon Saeedvafa- finishing the book the twist in it was very unexpected you would never think that it would end like that. By the way that the book was written it was obvious that there would be a happy ending, but not like this. I kept on building up my own little conclusion and ending to the story as i read............JUST TO BE DECEIVED!!!!

I guess i kind of like the unexpected twist at the end, you really see the story from a different perspective. This ending is also alot happier than what i expected.

Yes as Armon said, the ending was a very unique ending. The book overall was ok. Many events have occured that led to a conclusion and a hypothesis to how the ending would be like, but the ending was not the same as mine.

1. When the author wrote "then it happened" i new that this was a part of turning point in the book to show what is going to happen.

2.I can connect to this book with another book. I can connect to the part of the ending ( that i cannot say) with another book thgat ive read with Camerons situation.

3. With the ending of the book the point to understand is be Honest. That if you are not honest many consequences will occur.

4.Overall i think this book is very very unique, i havent really read many books with this situation.

After reading several more pages of counterfeit son I have enjoyed it very much. I think this book is very suspensful and it just makes you wonder alot about what will happen next. It's a book that just grabs your attention and it doesn't want you to stop reading. I think this book is one of my favorite books i have read so far and hopefully it'll stay like this. At times this book may get confusing but it is still very enjoyable to read. I would recommened this book to everybody because it is just very interesting and unique.

I think this book is very similar to peoples lives because it pretty much happens everyday no matter where you are. Kids get kidnapped and later they find them and their lives pretty much aren't the same as they used to be. So this book relates alot of everyday life.

The end of the book was quite suprising. I did not expect that to occur. At first I was confused but I went back and reread it and things made much more sense. Like I said before the book makes you want to keep reading and not stop. This book was somewhat misleading because some events in the book foreshadowed other events but it didnt really turn out that way, thus that is way it was suprising. The chapters in the book gave you somewhat of an idea of what will happen next, but what you expected was not the outcome.

After reading the book I would recommened it to everyone, espically those who enjoy reading a quick suspense novel.
