So far in the book Story Of A Girl its really intresting . I think its a really good book. Its mess up how mostly everybody in town knows about her and Tommy. From the start of the book the Seniors are picking on her . I think its really sweet that Jay steps in to defend her. I think its kind of stupid that she is jealous of Jay and Lees relationship because there basicly the only friends she has. Darren is a real good brother even though he is over protective with her. I think that her dad really needs to realize that he's not doing any good by not talking to her . Her mom really needs to start speaking up as well .

I really like the beginning of the book Story of a girl because of how close she is to her friends than her dad. The incident with Tommy really affected her life for the last three years. When she wishes she had a relationship like Jason and Lee i felt bad for her because Tommy must of treated her really bad. When she starts to get her job and finds out shes working with Tommy she doubts herself because he started how she feels about herself. I think she will become better with her relationships with her family and other students from school.

The beginning of the book is really good and interesting. I agree with Glizyl, the incident with her and Tommy really did affect the next 3 years of her life since it happened. I also agree with Dyana and how the other characters are in the book and that her dad should start talking to her again and just forget about what happened because it's not going to change anything if he just ignores her. So far, I like the book and look forward to reading more to see what happens.

As Glizyl said, her working with Tommy has put her self estem down . I think its a good idea if her Darren, Stacy and April get a house together . It gives her a modivation to work and actualy get up and do something . The relationship between her and micheal is a good one . Hopefuly she can keep her head up . This book is really intresting to me . I actualy enjoy reading it .

As Deanna continues to work with Tommy, old feelings start to come up which makes things more complicated in her life. She also is conflicted with her feelings for her best friend Jason. Also, Deanna actually hearing how her dad feels about her. I feel like Deanna will end up having feelings for Jason and Tommy. Having Darren and Stacy on her side really helped her get through the last 3 years and she can really depend on them. I think in the next few chapters I think Deanna and her dad will start to get closer. I agree with both of you that the people in her life has affected her life in a big way but i think it can also change too.

So far the book is really interesting. I like how the author tells you the problem at the beginning of the story. Its sad how her father wont talk to her because of what happened. And everybody makes fun of her of what happened with her and Tommy when she was very young. At the beginning of the book its sad how the seniors pick on her but then Jay comes and defends her. But the book is so far interesting

I think the book is really good. I think her brother is right when he tells her not to screw up her life and to go to college unlike his brother who screwed up his life at 16 with Stacey and now has a baby. Its smart that Deanne gets a job and starts saving up for college. I agree with Glizyl that she and her dad will get closer throughout the book. But I enjoy reading the book a lot.... more then I thought I would

Yeah, I agree with Kevin, Dyana, & Glizyl. Her life was messed up before but now it's getting better because her dad's talking to her again. But she still has to work with Tommy and that can be a bad thing because she could fall for him again. I also like how her brother tells her to not make the same mistakes he made because then her life would be twice as bad as it is now. I really enjoy reading the book and I can't wait to see what happens in the end.

So far Tommy coming back into her life has changed some things in her life. She also thinks she can depend on Darren and Stacy. But now since Stacy dissappeared and has left her daughter and husband Deanna is confused with her life. Since her brother is all angry at everyone since Stacy left Deanna feels like she doesn't belong anywhere. Also when she starts talking to Jason it becomes awkward because they're such good friends. When some of Tommy's friends start harrasing Deanna Jason stands up for her. It shows that Jason and Deanna are good friends and Deanna just wishes she had someone like that.

I agree with Glizyl. Ever since Stacy disappeared, things have become harder around the house and in Deanna's life. I think that all the pressure is on her when Stacy leaves. Darren is bailing on her, her mom still gets on her nerves and everything. Especially with Tommy too. He's still the same as before, but he tries to be better for Deanna. As I keep reading, more and more starts to happens which affects Deanna and doesn't affect her at the same time. it's a good book and I enjoy reading it.

I agree with Jackie. Her life is still messed up. Its more messed up that Deanna has to work at the pizza place with Tommy. Its also more messed up that her dad wont talk to her after what happened when she was 13. Its kinda sad even though she apologized many times to her dad. But what i don't get is why Deanna dosen't tell anybody that Tommy works with her. She should tell somebody so that they know about him so if anything happens to her then they know who did it. But so far the book is good. I actually wanna read until the end to see what happens between Tommy and Deanna. And if her dad ever forgives her and actually start talking to each other

I think she is stupid for doing what she did with Tommy, but then again it kind of let her finaly let go of him because she finaly realized that he isn't what she wants . Also, She really mest up her trust with Lee because she came on to Jay. She should know better than that. She should really get her ead set on straight. Now that Stacy has left it has made Deanna more aware of things. She see's that maybe not everything is goig to be okay. &* Maybe her idea about her moving in with Darren, Stacy, and april may not be such a good idea. She should really start to get her head on straight. Over all i really enjoy this book and can't wait to see the out come .

I agree with Dyana. It is stupid what she is doing with Tommy. She did it once with Tommy. But she decides to do it again. Why? She knows whats going to happen. her Also shes stupid for kissing jason even though she knew that jason and lee are going out. But I dont why she does it. Even if Lee left out of town she shouldnt be kissing boyfriend. But so far the book is alright. just hope it gets better.

I think that the book was not good. I didnt like the ending at all. I thought the book was going to be about her and Tommy. But it wasnt. It was more about her and Lee and Jason. And how her and Lee got back together as friends. I thought it was more on her and Tommy about them having sex and how they avoid each other. But I liked how her and her dad made up and talked to each other. It was nice of him to say that he was going to buy her a car. But i didnt like the book.

I think that deanna should of remembered what tommy did and not make the same mistake again. but when tommy gets to her its hard for deanna to let go. at least she figures out that she deserves better. and jason is not her answer because she knows she will hurt lee in the end. Jason is a good friend to her so it was stupid of her to do that. I think that when Stacy came back she really realized what her life was turning into.

I think the ending was ok I like that deanna and her dad can talk now. I thought there would be more but the ending was like kinda too short. I was expecting more from Deanna and Tommy. Also, with Stacy, Darren, and April i thought they had issues there with Darren and stacy. Deanna always believed she would move in with them and she was disappointed but she was forced to open her relationship with her dad. When Lee asked Deanna to come with her it didn't tell us if they were friends and Jason just looks on. At least Deanna can actually focus on becoming a better person than the past few years.

Yeah, I agree with Kevin. She knows what's going to happen if she keeps hanging out with Tommy but she still goes and hangs out with him either way. I think that she made a mistake taking the job at the pizza place because she doesn't want anything to do with Tommy but she still gets involved with him and that's making things more complicated for her. But she also wants to make her own money so it's alright. And the relationship with her and her dad is kind of sad because after all these years, he still won't talk to her. I think he should forgive and forget because he's not making the situation better if he can't even talk to his own daughter.

The ending wasn't really what I was expecting but it was still alright. I think the ending went kind of quick so not much was said. It's good that her and her dad are somewhat talking again. I thought that Deanna was going to give Tommy another chance and get back together because she apologized and everything but I guess not. They didn't say much about Stacy, Darren, and April towards the end either. But you can kind of guess what was going to happen. I think that Jason, Lee, and Deanna are going to be okay from now on too.

This book has really gotten intense . Deanne has relaxed . She has learned about her self through out the summer . She really eeded this summer brake to think things over. She has finaly put away her english diary and has faced reality. I think now she is going to be more at peace with her self as with others. She was able to forgive Tommy and not hate him any more. That took alot of guts for her to do because he was one of the persons who hurt her the most. She finaly faced her problem on why she did all that she did with him, she wanted to be noticed atleast by somebody. &* Tommy made her feel special . Also, even though her dad doesn't much show it, you ca tell her cares about her. She has also kind of for gaven her dad. She just needs a bit more work with that.

I liked the meaning and story behind this book more than acutaly reading it. It was enjoyable, but it wasn't fully good like the way I expected it to be. The book at firest was really good then through out it, it was really plain and boring, or it maybe just be because of my expectations. I really think this story was a good one to tell. And just the way it seemed so real. Over all i did enjoy some of it. ALthough it could have been better.
