I thought Story of a Girl was a book that can give students an inside look on how a bad past reputation can effect your future and how people see you. This book gives students an idea of what really goes on in a small town high school and how rumors can destroy you.

I read the sisterhood of the traveling pants. i thought this book was very good because it told the story of four friends who spent an entire summer away from one another. and not only that, but they all had one thing in common, and that was magical pair of pants that fit each one of them. these pants kept them togther but were also worn by the girls when they eached had a life changing expirience. these pants made each girl stronger, wiser, and more braver than they were. this book was very humorous and talked about everyday teenagers and the dilemas that they have to go through in life everyday. to me this is one of my top books that I've read!

I read the book 13 reasons why about this girl in a small town who committed suicide for 13 reasons and 13 powerful reason. The book was overall very powerful and it was touching because it really shows how peoples actions can truly traumatize another another to the point of committing suicide. The book had good detail of character, setting and emotion. This story doesn't hold back and it would be great for anyone to read even for the people who say they hate books.

I read Eragon. I thought this book was pretty good. I really liked the descriptions because it gave you a good mental image of what was going on in a certain scene and it made you feel as if you were experiencing what the characters were.

I thought 'Marley and Me' was a great book for anyone who has a dog. I related so much to John, the main character, because his dog would always get into trouble and constantly do obnoxious things--like my dog. Through all the trouble, Marley teaches the whole Grogan family about loyalty and unconditional love. Even though the loss of Marley made life for the Grogans easier--no shedding, missing shoes, broken vases or ripped up pillows--a part of their family had been missing. They were ever grateful for Marley.

Story of a girl is a great book. I like to read books about teens that go through the same things that we do in highschool . This book is mainly about drama and rumors that people start and it gets the reader more interested because ur always wondering what's gonna happen next?
this is a good book and I recomend it to anyone in h.s. because it's easy to relate to.

I read the book Stoner and Spaz. I thought the book was very good and interesting. It was very similar to real life. It showed what people would do to fit in with other people. It also showed what people will do for the people they like. Another thing the book shows is what people can do when they are committed to something.
The book was a real page turner because you are always wondering what will happen next.

Thirteen Reasons Why.. I consider this book one of the best I've ever read. I love mysteries and suspense books! This book had it all! It is a little creepy though, Hannah Baker recorded herself telling the story of how thirteen people contributing to her commiting suicide. Clay Jensen is astonish as he hears each and one of the reasons she killed herself. I loved this book! What I liked the most is that it was very easy to understand and that at each end of a chapter it made you want to read more and more!It gets the reader so involved in the story, that you start to feel like your part of it. :D

I read An Abundance Of Katherines and i didn't like the book. It was really boring and wasn't interesting. I'm not really into romantic books. I like reading adventure books or books that relate to me.

I read Evil Genius. This book is a really good book if you are into taking over the world and mystery. Cadel, the genius in the book went to an institute at the age of 13. The institute is really a disguise, its actually a place where kids are taught criminal techniques. If you want know what will happen to Cadel, you will have to read Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks.

The book I read "Blow" by Bruce Porter was a great book. It was about a drug dealer that made 1 billion dollars by smuggling coacaine into the U.S. and then selling. This book is full of action and suspense as George Jung goes through his life as a outcast and social freak. I liked this book especially because it kept my attention with the subject of drugs and it also is a biography. I thought it was amazing how he went through his whole life and it all ended at the end.

I read the book Thirteen Reasons Why. It was about a girl named Hannah who committed suicide and left tapes with all the reasons why she killed herself. To eb honest I didn't think it was a good book. I think that the reasons why she kills herself are kind of.. silly. It didn't really get captured in the book.

I read A Child Called IT. Its a true story about a boy named David and the abuse his mom put him through. Their were weeks at a time when David would have to go without food. To make things worse his mom would beat on him anytime she was angry at someone else.

I really did love this book, I acutally read it 3 times! I think if anyone has a chance to read this book they should go for it!

Stone of Tears was an intense book. It really got you wondering what was going to happen next. The descriptions make you feel like you're in the story yourself, experiencing what the characters are experiencing. This book was about Richard Cypher (Rahl), Kahlan Amnell, and Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander and their adventure they went through to help stop evil from dominating the lands. If you like romantic fantasy, you'll love this book.

I read 13 reasons why. It was about a girl named hanna who commits suicide and leaves tapes for the 13 people who caused her to end her life. I think it was an overall good book and it kept me interested and wanting to know more. It helped me visualize exactly what was happening with a lot of details and it never got boring.

I read the book called Tyrell. It's a book about a guy named Tyrell and he has to get his family out of the homeless shelters while his father is locked up for selling drugs to minors. He figured out a way to get out of these shelters it was to grab his dad's old dj equipment to make a party for all the teens in uptown bronx. I thought this book showed what the real world looks like to a lot of people in this world and how people have to do ugly and desperate things to make money and survive.

I thought that the book “If I Die in a Combat Zone, Box Me up and Ship Me Home” by Tim O’Brien was a great book. I really liked this book. I think it was one of the best books I have ever read. I think that because of the fact that it describes war so perfectly and it uses no censorship. It gives the reader the feeling that he/she is watching the battles on TV or as they were there. The beginning of the book starts off really great. It starts off during a surprise attack from the Vietnamese on the American Marines. But after the first chapter or so the author just looks back on how he ended up there. He tells the reader where he was born, where he grew up, he describes his entire life. He tells the reader his plans of running away to Canada so he can catch a ship to Denmark because he was scarred that he was going to die in the war. After that it’s all battles, and how his friends were being killed and how he was taught that killing is justified.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes war books, History books and books that use some really strong language. If you are not mature enough I do not think you should read this book because in every page there is at least one bad word and if you’re not mature enough and laugh at it and be surprised that this book is using such language then this book will not be interesting to you. I say that because you will be concentrating on finding new swear words in the book that you will not be able to follow along with the story.

Title: True Notebooks
Author:Mark Salzman

I read the book True Notebooks. This book is a non-fiction. Yeah you might think of it as a boring book becuase its a non-fiction. This book made me think of life in a whole different way. This book is about teenagers who commited crime such as sexual assault, murders, robbing, and possession of drugs. And an author came and taught a class on writting. Their stories changed the way i think of living life. i would prefer this book to alot of young adult. Mostly who are getting themselves into a world of fear and pride.
