I read Upstate by Kalisha Buckhanon. If you like mystery and romance books, this is the book for you. Not only that, this books also discuss the everyday issues a teenager might face such as relationship problems and family problems. It may also make you question the statement that love conquers all. In addition, it talks about how prisons can change someone's life.

I read The Hunger Games Suzanne Collins. If you like reading about suspense and adventure, then this is the book for you. The Hunger Games takes place in the distant future where a corrupt government forces the people to send two representatives to fight to the death. Left and right people and dying and the main character Katniss has to make a choice. She has to decide whether or not to team up with Peeta who is from the same district as her. This book is great because it shows a dystopia where the government has complete control of the people and there people who are willing to go against the government's control.

I really enjoyed the book, Go Ask Alice. I would recommend it to any teen or adult. This book is about a girl named Alice and her struggle with being a drug addict. From being in and out of an hospital, from running away, and ruining her social life with family and friends. The author lets you see how harsh, disturbing, and life changing drugs can be.
5/5 Stars!

I read the book Pride of Baghdad. Even though it was a short book, it told an interesting story. This was about how a family of lions must survive on their own now that the zoo has been blown up. There are close calls and it has a sad ending. I recommend it to teens and up because it does have some mature content.

A Game Of Thrones is an interesting, perhaps the most interesting fantasy book I've ever read. This novel starts giving insight into court life in The North. As the Starks are pulled into the game of thrones the book takes quite a turn leading to a suspenseful end.

The Hunger Games is a very exciting book with lots of action. Each district has 2 participants to compete for their district in order to win prizes for their district. There are different fight scenes and each individual must fight it out till the end and survive to be the one and only victor. I recommend this book to anyone who like an action packed book.

Carlos F -Life As We Knew It

Life As We Knew It is a very good book if you like survival books. This book is about a teen named Miranda and how her and her family have to face an end of the world situation. The moon just got misplaced from its natural orbit and the weather is going crazy. Miranda is slowly growing out of food as the seasons pass and is scared that they might not make it. To find out of they do survive read this amazing book. If i was a critic I would rate this book 5 stars.

I read the book 'Crank' by Ellen Hopkins. This book is about a girl who's life changes drastically after she starts smoking cigarettes, doing crystal meth, and other drugs. I thought this book was moving in the sense that it tuned you into how a person relying on drugs is. It shows how she goes from doing good to school to barely even going to school. Although this book was so good and I couldn't put it down, it sound a bit repetitive. It felt as though the main character never made any progress, as if she was a crank fiend throughout the story. Moreover, I didn't like how the ending ended so abruptly, with way to many questions unanswered. Overall I think this book is good for any teen to read and learn from.

zachary kenney-I read the book Pride of baghdad by Brian K. Vaughan. The book its self was incredible. i enjoyed most of it until the part where the loins die. the book makes for think and realize what is going on in Baghdad and gives you another Perception on how we might be the "bad guys". this book shows off alot of courage whether it is fighting monkeys with stones or a bear trained to kill lions.

There are several layers to the the book Pride of Baghdad allowing readers to determine how much they invest in the story. You can enjoy it as an adventurous story of four lions hoping to find peace outside of a cage or you can dig deeper into the text which addresses the nature and the cost of freedom. Or you can simply look at the beautiful illustrations. I would highly recommend this book, its not just about four lions, its about the struggles of life.

i read the book "i;d tell you i love you, but then I'd have to kill you"
i thought the begginning of the book was boring until they got into the part where Cammie and Josh started dating secretly and the consequences she and her friends would have to face if getting caught sneaking ou at night and hacking josh's computer and putting a tracker on his shoe. the book was interesting with action and it made me think what would happen next.

I can say from experience that when you start reading you will get hooked in fast and you will continue to keep reading. Secrets to be revealed, mysteries to be solved, action to be played, this is Maximum Ride. I like this book a lot and I hope anyone else that reads it likes it too

I read the book "If I Die in a Combat zone,Box Me Up and Ship Me Home” by Tim O’Brien. This was one of the best books I’ve read. I say that because it draws you in, in the first sentence of the book. Also the author does an amazing job of describing every little thing in the book. When you are reading this book you feel like you are there or you are watching a movie.

I read the comic book Pride of Bahgdad it was very interesting and was very adventurous. My favorite part of the book was when the fought the bear and killed it. It is weird to think that this is based on a true story it was sad at the end how the american solider killed them because after reading the whole book you come to like those lions.
I would definetly reccomend this to anyone because it has action adventure and is sad.
