I think that this book so far is really intresting. I think that Tyrell, the main character is trying to take responsibility for his family since his mom rarely does anything to help and his dad is in jail. In the book, it shows that Tyrell's mother expects people to take care of her when really, she should be doing something to try to get her family out of EAU.
At EAU, Tyrell gets to know Jasmine which in my opinion is that she will bring trouble into Tyrell and Novisha's relationship. Tyrell already cheated on Novisha with Jasmine and that is only in the begging of the book.
So far the book Tyrell is a great book. Tyrell is the ony person who trys to help his faily out. His mom doesnt do anything to help and she wasnt paying attention and tyrells yonger brother almot ran intothe street trying to get a ball. He tells her you almost let hi go in the street. Tyrells family is living in motels because they got no money and their dad is in jail. Tyrells mother also thinks that everyone is responcible to do stuff for her like when tyrell didnt come home with food from novishas house. overall the book is great so far
I would have to agree with Valeria and Carlos about the book Tyrell. Tyrell is really interesting so far. In this book Tyrell goes through a lot. His father is in jail and he lives in the projects with his mom and little brother. His mom expects everyone to come to her and help her out and do thing for her. Tyrell tries to get his brother on track he basically takes care of him most of time. Also, his mother expects Tyrell to go to the streets and sell drugs to get money and help the family out. When the mother should be trying to help out and raise her children well and try to get her family out of EAU.
During the time when Tyrell is at EAU he gets to meet this puerto rican girl name Jasmine. Jasmine just came to EAU with her older sister and got to meet Tyrell. I agree with Valeria that Jasmine may be trouble in Tyrell and Novisha's relationship since Tyrell basically cheated on Novisha with Jasmine on the first night Jasmine stayed at EAU. But overall this book is very good and interesting in my opinion.

This book so far is Amazing.
So far the main character Tyrell has been through a lot of suffering , he has to grow up fast and help his family out. Since the beginning of the book tyrell has to act like the man of the house. His father is in jail and he lives in the projects with his mom and little brother. His mom expects everyone to come to her and help her out and do things for her. His mom doesn’t really pay attention to what her kids do , one day when his little brother Troy is playing his ball rolls across the street and he is about to run and get it without watching out for any cars. His mom is there but she is not paying attention to him , so Tyrell has to run and stop him. Pretty much Tyrell has to look after his little brother and try to get his family out of the Projects.
Even though he has so many things and problems in mind , he still has time for his girlfriend Novisha. She is a young and sweet girl , they have been together for along time . Matter of fact Tyrell is her 1st real boyfriend, Tyrell really loves her . He has not cheated on her or had any problems. Everything changes one after noon in front of the EAU when he meets a new girl named Jasmine. I agree with penny & valeria Jasmine is trouble for Tyrell& Novisha’s relationship. Not only Jasmine but also the guy who is bothering Novisha at school . This guy keeps harassing her with this disturbing notes that he is writing to her , he can also be trouble in their relationship.

The book "Tyrell" is one of the best books i ever read. This book has everything from kissing to hard times.
Tyrell is a poor kid who lives in the projects of New York and I feel very bad for Tyrell because he can't get to see his girlfriend, Novisha as much as he wants to. But a girl that Tyrell meets at a hotel that he is moved to whose name is Jasmine, obviously likes him but Tyrell has to stay away from her because he doesn't want to feel guilty for cheating on Jasmine.
Tyrell's brother, Troy, is a kid who also has a tough time. Tyrell's mother barely even looks out for them so Tyrell has to be more like a parent to Troy than a brother.
Also Tyrell is a kid who also thinks on the bright side and keeps thinking that his family will be living a bette life sooner or later. Tyrell's is a forteen year old kid and has a terrible life but doesn't give hope. Thats why I think this book is interesting.

There is a major problem stopping him from finding a place because they are dead broke. Tyrell decides to throw a party by using his dad's equipment since his dad use to be a DJ before he went to jail. Tyrell decides to go to his friend, Cal so he can get some money from him in order to pay for the cost of his party. Cal sells weed and drugs and that is why he is loaded with money. Cal agreed to give Tyrell money but Tyrell will have to pay him back with the money he makes out of the party. Tyrell doesn't want any drugs or weed at the party even though he can make more money if there was, but he doesn't want to end up like his father because then who will take care of his little brother? Not his mom because she needs someone to take care of her also. Tyrell told Cal that he can sell his products outside the party because he doesn't want anything illegal inside the party.
Cal gave Tyrell a hundred and fifty dollars but it would be hard to find a place for that much money and he needs to decorate for the party still. The money that Cal gave Tyrell might not be enough for the cost of the party. For that matter, Tyrell needs to find a cheap place so that he can have money left over for the decorations.
In my opinion this book is amazing and it keeps me wanting to read more.
This book gets more interesting as you keep reading it. There is a lot of detail and drama that you can't get enough of in each chapter. It makes you wanna keep reading and reading.
As the book goes on Tyrell wants to get his family out of EAU. He wants the help of his friend Cal and his two brothers Greg and Andre. Tyrell wants to throw the parties his pops use with his pops equipment and earn money off of it to try to get the family out of Bennett. He wants to charge people for getting in and have Cal and his brothers sell weed outside the place Tyrell is trying to find to have the party at. Tyrell knows he can be like Cal and his brothers and sell weed on the streets and get money really quick but he doesn't want to end up in jail, that's why he want's to throw this party. Tyrell doesn't want to end up like his father in jail and not being able to take care of the family. That's like in the book it says "I do things right, I can make some good money like my pops was makin'. But I ain't trying to go down like the man. Nah. I'ma hafta be smarter than him".
I would have to agree with Valeria this book is amazing and keeps me wanting to read more.

The reason why he goes to Cal is because he knows that Cal always has money on him , since he is a drug dealer.
Cal agreed to give Tyrell money, but Tyrell told him and his brothers Greg and Andre that they could not sell anything inside the party only outside. After that Cal
& his brothers remind Tyrell that he could be making easy money by working with them. Tyrell knows he could , but at the same time he doesn't want to because he doesn't want to end up in jail like his dad & because he knows without him he doesn't know what would happen to Troy.
After the meeting with Cal , Tyrell is on his way back home but since there is alot of snow its becoming a mission to get back on time so he has to crash at his girlfriends house. The next day Novisha wakes him up to make breakfast and they are really happy . Until he gets a call from Jasmine telling him that she found Troy by himself in the room , and this gets Tyrell really mad. Jasmine told him that she would stay with him until he came back. so Tyrell has to hurry up and get back.
When he gets back he finds out that his mom gave Dante the key to his dads equipment just so that she could get 3 bags of food. Will he be able to get back the Equipment on time ? or will his dream get destroyed ?

I think that the book "Tyrell" keeps getting better and better. The farther Tyrell gets the more problems he has. He tried to throw a party by getting money from Cal and the only excuse was that they didnt sell drugs or weed in the party. They could only do it outside of the party. So I agree with Josselyn because this book is full of suprises and there are so many preoblems that we will not know how they will be solved

All though they did get a little closer together Tyrell still has some thoughts since he read Novisha's diary and found out that his girl is embarrassed since he doesn't go to school while her friends think that not good for Novisha to have Tyrell like that. Tyrell feels that Novisha should of stood up and said something since that his her man.
On the other hand Tyrell is getting tired of Novisha not giving him anything. So Tyrell goes over Jasmine's and like every night they spend the night together and Tyrell wants some tonight. But, Jasmine knows that Tyrell has a girl and doesn't give him anything, Tyrell and Jasmine though still get close.
Tyrell takes Troy to school one day and Tyrell and Troy's teacher talks to Tyrell. She tells him how she is planning to take Tyrell out of special education and put him in regular classes. While Tyrell is about to leave the teacher tell him to wait by the door and gives him some breakfast.
Dante comes and by so much food and gets Troy a brand new jacket and some boots. Dante also gets Tyrell's moms hair braided. Tyrell thinks that's wrong since Tyrell is suppose to be the man of the house and Dante is trying to get in the family and Tyrell doesn't want that.
Overall this book is very interesting and the detail is great and makes me keep reading. I can't wait to read and see what is going to happen now with the party Tyrell is planning for Saturday.

The book keeps getting better and better by each chapter. At this point Tyrell is trying to find a place where he can have his party at. one of his fathers friend told him to contact this guy who would help him find a good place to get the party started. When he meets Leon he gives him money to eat then they talk and after the talk ,Leon shows him some places and then they get back to MacDonald to eat again and talk money. When he gets the place now he has to get people to help him get the party known.He has some help from Cal, Wayne, Wayne's friend and Jasmine to have the party running.
After solving all this problems for the party Tyrell still has time for Novisha. They get closer in there relationship when one Wednesday Tyrell comes over Novisha's house. Even though they did get a little closer together Tyrell still has some thoughts since he read Novisha's diary and found out that his girl is embarrassed since he doesn't go to school while her friends think thats not good for Novisha to have a boyfriend like that.Tyrell starts to feel that Novisha should of stood up and said something since that his her man. When he gets back home he fins out that his mom went back to Dante since they have food and he got Troy some boots and a better jacket. Tyrell is mad , he asked for the equipment and his mom said that Dante needs it friday so he will get it back saturday right on time for the party. After all this big mess he goes to Jasmine to sleep with her like he does every night.
Him & Jasmine have a stronger and better relationship than him and Novisha do. He is able to tell Jasmine things that he can't tell Novisha or anyone else which makes him think twice about staying with her .

The book Tyrell, just drowns you in the book. The more you read, the harder it is for you to stop reading and put the book down. It has so many twists and turns that you are so caught up in the book that you don't even realize the time is passing by.
In the past few chapters, Tyrell wanted to get his family out of the EAU and have a place of their own to live. The only thing stopping him from doing that is that he was broke. His mom doesn't have a job and neither does he. His little brother, Troy is only seven years old, and he wants him focusing on school work and nothing else. Tyrell does get a couple bucks here and there from selling metro cards for less than the city sells it for but he doesn't make much. He barely makes enough for food let alone an apartment.
In my opinion, Tyrell has developed feelings over Jasmine because he is protective of her. Tyrell just doesn't want to own up to it because he has a girlfriend that he loves and doesn't want anything to break up the relationship between them. In the book, Tyrell started to fight Mr. Mendoza, the night manager of Bennett, because he saw him coming out of Jasmine's room and he thought they did something. To add on to that, When Jasmine's sister left her at Bennett to go and live with a guy she recently met at a night club, Tyrell began to room with Jasmine at night because she doesn't like to sleep alone.
Tyrell is caught up in the whole party planning because he wants to make cash so that he can get his family out of EAU. The only problem is that Dante, his dad's friend, has all of the equipment. Since Tyrell's mom went with Dante for grocery shopping and Dante payed for everything, he asked her if he can borrow the equipment for a couple of days since he was planning a party and he needs to use the equipments. Tyrell's mom knows where is the key to the garage because when Tyrell was sleeping over Novisha's house, he had to tell his mom where he hid the money or else Troy would be starving since they had nothing to eat. So, Tyrell's mom let Dante borrow the equipments because he gave her something in return. When Tyrell found out about this, he was really aggravated and told her that she needed to tell Dante to give them back because of the party he was going to have on Saturday. His mom said yes she would tell Dante that but Tyrell still called him anyways but Dante didn't pick up. The next time Dante bought groceries for them, he wrapped everything up in plastic containers so that the roaches won't eat anything. He also bought Troy a new game boy, a North Face, and Timberland boots. He also payed for Tyrells mom to get her hair braided. When Tyrell asked her when is Dante going to give the equipments back, she said on Friday.
Tyrell is calling his dad's friends to help him plan the party. The first pirson Tyrell called was the bouncer because his dad trusted him with money and he was really good at math. He told him that he can never find a place to rent for one hundred fifty dollars and he told him to call Leon and he will help him find a place. Tyrell called Leon and he gave him a couple of places to chose from. Tyrell picked the parking lot for buses and they are really going to break in the place since Tyrell couldn't really afford anything. Leon is charging three hundred dollars for everything.
Will everything go smoothly at the party or will everything crash down on Tyrell and his family? Will Jasmine come in the way of Tyrell and Novisha's realationship? Or they will break up because it is not working out?
This book keeps getting better and better. The more I read the more I want to read. Tyrell is in a horrible situation right now. Tyrell and his family are in the EAU but they try so hard to get out. This goal for them will almost be impossible because his family keeps spending money on stupid things such as Cheez Doodles and Pepsi. But Tyrell is trying as best as he can to try to get some money by selling metro cards. Tyrell gets a lot of help from people such as Daunte who buys his family things such as grocires and trys to help them out. Also Novisha and her family try to give Tyrell food.
Tyrell are Novisha's relationship right now is not doing to well. Tyrell goes looking threw her diary and he reads that Novisha's friends make fun of her because her boyfriend doesn't go to school so that makes Tyrell feel bad inside. Tyrell also has been rooming with Jasmine for a few nights because Jasmine's sister left to go stay with a man she met at a night club. So Tyrell probably feels guilty becuase Novisha has no idea about how Tyrell keeps staying with her.
So the book Tyrell is full of new surprises and I am nervouse to see if his family will make it out of the EAU or even many Novisha and Tyrell will break up. I guess I will have to keep reading to find out what happends next.
The book Tyrell was truly amazing. It has so man twists and turns making you want to know what will happen next. Like is this going to happen or that is going to happen? You just don't know what will be thrown at you during the book.
Tyrell's party is getting closer and closer and he just wants everything to go the way he wants. He doesn't want anything bad happening at his party and he is trying his best to achieve that goal. He is in a tight situation because after his mom's meeting with the caseworkers from the EAU, he is in need of the money more then ever. The EAU caseworkers told her that they won't let them stay at Tier two shelters because of her last conviction. The caseworkers told her that they will transfer them to some kind of program that do job training for single mothers. If they go and choose to live there, they will live there for eight weeks until they find them an apartment that Tyrell's mom will pay for. In order do do that, his mom will have to find a job. Knowing his mom, Tyrell knows that his mom won't do that because she wants somebody taking care of her, not the other way around.
Novisha and Tyrell's relationship is not doing so well. At dinner with Novisha's parents on Friday, Tyrell found out that Novisha has three diaries instead of two. Tyrell thought that there were no secrets between them, but clearly, there were many secrets that both of them were hiding from one another. After Novisha found out about how Tyrell has been sleeping in Jasmine's room and that Jasmine was actually pretty not ugly, Novisha was furious. Novisha had plenty of secrets hiding from Tyrell too. For example, the fact that she had a fake diary for Tyrell to read and the real diary was in her book bag not on her desk.
Jasmine is in a deep situation herself. Reyna chose not to go back to Bennett or Emiliano. Jasmine has to choose what to do because she only has a couple of days left until the EAU caseworkers will find out that she has been neglected and put her in foster care. Reyna offered her to come stay with her and her new boyfriend, but Jasmine turned down her offer because Reyna's new boyfriend was checking her out. The only person to turn to is Emiliano, but Jasmine doesn't want to turn to him because it wasn't his responsibility to take care of her especially since Reyna doesn't want to get back with him anymore. Jasmine has no other choice. On Saturday, Jasmine and Emiliano are are going out to eat for lunch and she will ask him if it's okay for her to stay with him.
Tyrell's party turned out to be good over all. Him and Patrick grew closer at that party. Tyrell was offered to play at a sweet sixteen for a girl at a community center in March and Tyrell agreed. Everyone loved Tyrell's style and thought he was really good at what he was doing. There were also problems that went down at the party. There were a couple of thugs after Cal wanting to give him a message. Luckily, Cal was at the hospital because his on and off girlfriend was in labor and about to give birth to his baby.

This is the best book that i have ever read in my life. This is the only book that is really interesting and keeps me going and reading all the time without having someone tell me to read it.
So far Tyrell is getting ready for the party. He has the place , the music, the people , the equipment.
Everything is ready , he is waiting for the party to happen so he can get the money to get his family out of the EAU & get his family an apartment.
One day when he gets to the motel room he finds his mom really mad because she just saw his dad and he told her how he is only going to play at weddings and birthday parties when he gets out. His mom thinks that he is crazy and that he doesnt need to do that , Tyrell is getting mad but he doesnt really want to argue with her , so he just listens. Until he tells her how she always says that she loves that man but you dont ever do nothing to support him. After he said that he could not take anything else from her so he left.
Later he goes to Jasmines room and keeps on trying to get with her. She still wont do anything with him because she respects her self too much. Later on that night they kept talking and they got to a point were they started talking about their biggest mistakes. Tyrells mistake is looking up to his dad when he is in jail and he cant do anything to his family.

This book keeps getting better and better every time i pick it up and start to read it.
Well Tyrell is getting ready for his party on Saturday and Jasmine is helping him promote his party. Jasmine n Tyrell are going around Jasmine school and her old schools to promote the party since she knows everyone. Jasmine and Tyrell then stop by Emiliano's to get her dance clothes. Later on in the chapters Tyrell's mom goes to visit Tyrell's father in jail and she says how he is just going to be working at weddings and birthday party and she gets a little mad n sad because he not going to make the money as he use to make. She wants him to support the family but if he goes back to do the same as before he may get back in jail again because he is risking his life. Tyrell also talk about his father and what they use to do like play ball and have lots of fun with eachother. He sounds like a good guy. Tyrell wants Troy to have somebody there for him like a father's position but since his father is not here right now Tyrell is going to take the spot. That night Jasmine and Tyrell talk about their mistakes in life. Jasmine said she felt embarrassed today when she saw everyone from her old school becuase she was know for being a hoe. Tyrell said his mistake was looking up to his father becuase the mistakes he has made in his life and how he is in jail now and Tyrell doesn't want to be like that.
I agree with Josselyn this book is the best book I read. This book keeps having more and more new things. I can't wait to see how Tyrell's party goes and I can't wait just like Rozen to see if Tyrell's family is going to get out of EAU. But most important i can't wait to finish the book!

This is the best book that i have ever read in my life. This is the only book that is really interesting and keeps me going and reading all the time without having someone tell me to read it.

One day when he gets to the motel room he finds his mom really mad because she just saw his dad and he told her how he is only going to play at weddings and birthday parties when he gets out. His mom thinks that he is crazy and that he doesnt need to do that , Tyrell is getting mad but he doesnt really want to argue with her , so he just listens. Until he tells her how she always says that she loves that man but you dont ever do nothing to support him. After he said that he could not take anything else from her so he left.
Later he goes to Jasmines room and keeps on trying to get with her. She still wont do anything with him because she respects her self too much. Later on that night they kept talking and they got to a point were they started talking about their biggest mistakes. Tyrells mistake is looking up to his dad when he is in jail and he cant do anything to his family.

Tyrell was such an amazing book! It kept the readers interested because there was a lot of action, suspense, and drama. I would highly recommend this book because i think that the readers will never get bored of reading this book because it keeps them wanting to read more and more.
Jasmine found out that Emiliano was in love with her since the first day he met her. He told her that she can live with him but she has to be his girlfriend. He told her she doesn't have to do anything with him until she is ready to. Jasmine didn't know what to say or do because the only person that was like a father figure to her ended up falling in love with her. Jasmine decides to live with Emiliano because she has no other place to go. She doesn't want to stay with Reyna because her boyfriend checks her out all the time. For that matter, the only place for her right now is at Emiliano's house.
A lot of things go down at Tyrell's party. Tyrell discovers that his girlfriend of a year and a half was lying to him that whole time about being a virgin when she lost it when she was at bible camp. Jamal, the person she lost it to was the person who has been sending her all those letters the whole time. Novisha just didn't tell that to Tyrell and Tyrell was furious when he found out about this. Tyrell also found out that Leon was a pimp and that was the reason he had a lot of cash on him at all time. Leon was at Tyrell's party the whole time making money too.
Tyrell made two thousand dollars from the party. When Tyrell came home, Mr. Mendoza gave Tyrell a letter from ACS. Tyrell came to his room and found out that Troy wasn't there and he already knew what that letter was. Tyrell's mom was no where to be found and he knew that she abandoned Troy again and that was the only reason why Troy has been put in foster care. When Tyrell's mom came home, Tyrell knew that she had spent the night with Dante and he was furious how she left Troy alone in the middle of the night. Tyrell packed up all his belongings and left the room with the two thousands dollars in his pocket.
Tyrell met Jasmine at the church and he told her everything. Jasmine told him what she was planing to do about Emiliano because she had no other choice. When Tyrell asked why did Jasmine have to do that when Reyna should be responsible for him, Jasmine replied by saying that it isn't fair, that Reyna is my sister not my mother, she deserves her freedom since she has been taking care of me when she was eighteen. Tyrell understood that now because he doesn't have to take care of nobody but himself. He felt free at last. Not that he was happy that Troy was put in foster care, he was actually really tore up by that, but now he has no responsibility. Now, Tyrell is free.

I think that this book so far is really intresting. I think that Tyrell, the main character is trying to take responsibility for his family since his mom rarely does anything to help and his dad is in jail. In the book, it shows that Tyrell's mother expects people to take care of her when really, she should be doing something to try to get her family out of EAU.
At EAU, Tyrell gets to know Jasmine which in my opinion is that she will bring trouble into Tyrell and Novisha's relationship. Tyrell already cheated on Novisha with Jasmine and that is only in the begging of the book.

The book Tyrell gets more and more interesting by the chapter. There is a lot of problems happening and you just want to know what will happen next. So, for that matter it is hard to put the book down even though you have to.
Tyrell wants to get his family out of Bennett and wants to get them an apartment to live in so that they can have a place to call home. There is a major problem stopping him from finding a place because they are dead broke. Tyrell decides to throw a party by using his dad's equipment since his dad use to be a DJ before he went to jail. Tyrell decides to go to his friend, Cal so he can get some money from him in order to pay for the cost of his party. Cal sells weed and drugs and that is why he is loaded with money. Cal agreed to give Tyrell money but Tyrell will have to pay him back with the money he makes out of the party. Tyrell doesn't want any drugs or weed at the party even though he can make more money if there was, but he doesn't want to end up like his father because then who will take care of his little brother? Not his mom because she needs someone to take care of her also. Tyrell told Cal that he can sell his products outside the party because he doesn't want anything illegal inside the party.
Cal gave Tyrell a hundred and fifty dollars but it would be hard to find a place for that much money and he needs to decorate for the party still. The money that Cal gave Tyrell might not be enough for the cost of the party. For that matter, Tyrell needs to find a cheap place so that he can have money left over for the decorations.
In my opinion this book is amazing and it keeps me wanting to read more.

The book Tyrell, just drowns you in the book. The more you read, the harder it is for you to stop reading and put the book down. It has so many twists and turns that you are so caught up in the book that you don't even realize the time is passing by.
In the past few chapters, Tyrell wanted to get his family out of the EAU and have a place of their own to live. The only thing stopping him from doing that is that he was broke. His mom doesn't have a job and neither does he. His little brother, Troy is only seven years old, and he wants him focusing on school work and nothing else. Tyrell does get a couple bucks here and there from selling metro cards for less than the city sells it for but he doesn't make much. He barely makes enough for food let alone an apartment.
In my opinion, Tyrell has developed feelings over Jasmine because he is protective of her. Tyrell just doesn't want to own up to it because he has a girlfriend that he loves and doesn't want anything to break up the relationship between them. In the book, Tyrell started to fight Mr. Mendoza, the night manager of Bennett, because he saw him coming out of Jasmine's room and he thought they did something. To add on to that, When Jasmine's sister left her at Bennett to go and live with a guy she recently met at a night club, Tyrell began to room with Jasmine at night because she doesn't like to sleep alone.
Tyrell is caught up in the whole party planning because he wants to make cash so that he can get his family out of EAU. The only problem is that Dante, his dad's friend, has all of the equipment. Since Tyrell's mom went with Dante for grocery shopping and Dante payed for everything, he asked her if he can borrow the equipment for a couple of days since he was planning a party and he needs to use the equipments. Tyrell's mom knows where is the key to the garage because when Tyrell was sleeping over Novisha's house, he had to tell his mom where he hid the money or else Troy would be starving since they had nothing to eat. So, Tyrell's mom let Dante borrow the equipments because he gave her something in return. When Tyrell found out about this, he was really aggravated and told her that she needed to tell Dante to give them back because of the party he was going to have on Saturday. His mom said yes she would tell Dante that but Tyrell still called him anyways but Dante didn't pick up. The next time Dante bought groceries for them, he wrapped everything up in plastic containers so that the roaches won't eat anything. He also bought Troy a new game boy, a North Face, and Timberland boots. He also payed for Tyrells mom to get her hair braided. When Tyrell asked her when is Dante going to give the equipments back, she said on Friday.
Tyrell is calling his dad's friends to help him plan the party. The first pirson Tyrell called was the bouncer because his dad trusted him with money and he was really good at math. He told him that he can never find a place to rent for one hundred fifty dollars and he told him to call Leon and he will help him find a place. Tyrell called Leon and he gave him a couple of places to chose from. Tyrell picked the parking lot for buses and they are really going to break in the place since Tyrell couldn't really afford anything. Leon is charging three hundred dollars for everything.
Will everything go smoothly at the party or will everything crash down on Tyrell and his family? Will Jasmine come in the way of Tyrell and Novisha's realationship? Or they will break up because it is not working out?

The book Tyrell was truly amazing. It has so man twists and turns making you want to know what will happen next. Like is this going to happen or that is going to happen? You just don't know what will be thrown at you during the book.
Tyrell's party is getting closer and closer and he just wants everything to go the way he wants. He doesn't want anything bad happening at his party and he is trying his best to achieve that goal. He is in a tight situation because after his mom's meeting with the caseworkers from the EAU, he is in need of the money more then ever. The EAU caseworkers told her that they won't let them stay at Tier two shelters because of her last conviction. The caseworkers told her that they will transfer them to some kind of program that do job training for single mothers. If they go and choose to live there, they will live there for eight weeks until they find them an apartment that Tyrell's mom will pay for. In order do do that, his mom will have to find a job. Knowing his mom, Tyrell knows that his mom won't do that because she wants somebody taking care of her, not the other way around.
Novisha and Tyrell's relationship is not doing so well. At dinner with Novisha's parents on Friday, Tyrell found out that Novisha has three diaries instead of two. Tyrell thought that there were no secrets between them, but clearly, there were many secrets that both of them were hiding from one another. After Novisha found out about how Tyrell has been sleeping in Jasmine's room and that Jasmine was actually pretty not ugly, Novisha was furious. Novisha had plenty of secrets hiding from Tyrell too. For example, the fact that she had a fake diary for Tyrell to read and the real diary was in her book bag not on her desk.
Jasmine is in a deep situation herself. Reyna chose not to go back to Bennett or Emiliano. Jasmine has to choose what to do because she only has a couple of days left until the EAU caseworkers will find out that she has been neglected and put her in foster care. Reyna offered her to come stay with her and her new boyfriend, but Jasmine turned down her offer because Reyna's new boyfriend was checking her out. The only person to turn to is Emiliano, but Jasmine doesn't want to turn to him because it wasn't his responsibility to take care of her especially since Reyna doesn't want to get back with him anymore. Jasmine has no other choice. On Saturday, Jasmine and Emiliano are are going out to eat for lunch and she will ask him if it's okay for her to stay with him.
Tyrell's party turned out to be good over all. Him and Patrick grew closer at that party. Tyrell was offered to play at a sweet sixteen for a girl at a community center in March and Tyrell agreed. Everyone loved Tyrell's style and thought he was really good at what he was doing. There were also problems that went down at the party. There were a couple of thugs after Cal wanting to give him a message. Luckily, Cal was at the hospital because his on and off girlfriend was in labor and about to give birth to his baby.

The book "Tyrell" is one of the best books i ever read. This book has everything from kissing to hard times.
Tyrell is a poor kid who lives in the projects of New York and I feel very bad for Tyrell because he can't get to see his girlfriend, Novisha as much as he wants to. But a girl that Tyrell meets at a hotel that he is moved to whose name is Jasmine, obviously likes him but Tyrell has to stay away from her because he doesn't want to feel guilty for cheating on Jasmine.
Tyrell's brother, Troy, is a kid who also has a tough time. Tyrell's mother barely even looks out for them so Tyrell has to be more like a parent to Troy than a brother.
Also Tyrell is a kid who also thinks on the bright side and keeps thinking that his family will be living a bette life sooner or later. Tyrell's is a forteen year old kid and has a terrible life but doesn't give hope. Thats why I think this book is interesting.

I think that the book "Tyrell" keeps getting better and better. The farther Tyrell gets the more problems he has. He tried to throw a party by getting money from Cal and the only excuse was that they didnt sell drugs or weed in the party. They could only do it outside of the party. So I agree with Josselyn because this book is full of suprises and there are so many preoblems that we will not know how they will be solved
Also Tyrell and his family hates being in the EAU so Tyrell is trying to make money. I have a connection because we just learned about G-D teacher charicteristics and Tyrell is being self-sacrifing by working and then spending the money on his family.
Tyrell also doesn't want to end up like his father so he just thinks in his mind, if i go to jail, who will take care of this family. So also Tyrell is wise.

This book keeps getting better and better. The more I read the more I want to read. Tyrell is in a horrible situation right now. Tyrell and his family are in the EAU but they try so hard to get out. This goal for them will almost be impossible because his family keeps spending money on stupid things such as Cheez Doodles and Pepsi. But Tyrell is trying as best as he can to try to get some money by selling metro cards. Tyrell gets a lot of help from people such as Daunte who buys his family things such as grocires and trys to help them out. Also Novisha and her family try to give Tyrell food.
Tyrell are Novisha's relationship right now is not doing to well. Tyrell goes looking threw her diary and he reads that Novisha's friends make fun of her because her boyfriend doesn't go to school so that makes Tyrell feel bad inside. Tyrell also has been rooming with Jasmine for a few nights because Jasmine's sister left to go stay with a man she met at a night club. So Tyrell probably feels guilty becuase Novisha has no idea about how Tyrell keeps staying with her.
So the book Tyrell is full of new surprises and I am nervouse to see if his family will make it out of the EAU or even many Novisha and Tyrell will break up. I guess I will have to keep reading to find out what happends next.

So far this book is great. Tyrell is in a horrible situation because Novisha figures out that Tyrell slept with Jasmine. Also Tyrell has to deal with his mom is going crazy because she thinks that Tyrell's dad wont be able to see them as much as she wants him to.
So meanwhile Tyrell is about to have his party, everything is set up, and he thinks that the party with be a great success. Tyrell thinks in his mind that if his party is a success maybe his family can move out of EAU and maybe like in an appartment.
I think that maybe Tyrell would offer to Jasmine and Reyna to come with but that is just my opinion.
Also I think that Novisha and Tyrell with break up becuase Novisha's parents aren't to thrilled about how Tyrell is treating her, so maybe Novisha's parents with talk her into breaking up with him. I guess i will just have to keep reading

The ending of Tyrell was incredible. This book made me read and read. I don't think i have ever read that fast in my whole life.
So Tyrell figures out that Novisha was not a virgin and she lost her virginaty to a guy named Jamal. So this also really hurt there realtionship becasue now they both now that Tyrell slept with another girl and that Novisha slept with another guy. I was wrong because at the end of the book, Novisha and Tyrell dont break up, they just stay together but they seem to have a very akward relationship.
Jasmine figures out that Emiliano, who was Reyna's boyfriend, was in love with her. So Jasmine has no idea what to do, but she goes to Tyrell for help.
Also Tyrell's mom was one of the worst moms i have ever seen. She neglected Troy and left him alone several times. At the end of the book Troy is taken to foster care and Tyrell almost wants to cry. I think that Tyrell could have been a better parent than her. Tyrell had no other choice because he couldn't control his life and his mom's life.
Lastly, Tyrell's party went great. He made over 2000 dollars and Tyrell just left his house with the money and anything else he could grab. Tyrell was probably thinking of all the good times he had with Troy and maybe his mom and then left. Tyrell had many great charicteristics and he acted if so he wasn't even poor. He never lost hope and thats why this book was so imporant. It showed that you should never lost hope, even in a time of need.

I would have to agree with Valeria and Carlos about the book Tyrell. Tyrell is really interesting so far. In this book Tyrell goes through a lot. I agree with Valeria that Jasmine may be trouble in Tyrell and Novisha's relationship since Tyrell basically cheated on Novisha with Jasmine on the first night Jasmine stayed at EAU. But overall this book is very good and interesting in my opinion.

This book gets more interesting as you keep reading it. There is a lot of detail and drama that you can't get enough of in each chapter. It makes you wanna keep reading and reading.
As the book goes on Tyrell wants to get his family out of EAU. He wants the help of his friend Cal and his two brothers Greg and Andre. Tyrell wants to throw the parties his pops use with his pops equipment and earn money off of it to try to get the family out of Bennett. He wants to charge people for getting in and have Cal and his brothers sell weed outside the place Tyrell is trying to find to have the party at. Tyrell knows he can be like Cal and his brothers and sell weed on the streets and get money really quick but he doesn't want to end up in jail, that's why he want's to throw this party. Tyrell doesn't want to end up like his father in jail and not being able to take care of the family. That's like in the book it says "I do things right, I can make some good money like my pops was makin'. But I ain't trying to go down like the man. Nah. I'ma hafta be smarter than him".

The book Tyrell keeps getting better and better by each chapter. At this point in the book Tyrell is trying to find a place where he can have his party at. He has some help from Cal, Wayne, Wayne's friend and Jasmine to have the party running.
On the other had Tyrell and Novisha get closer in there relationship when one Wednesday Tyrell comes over Novisha's house. All though they did get a little closer together Tyrell still has some thoughts since he read Novisha's diary and found out that his girl is embarrassed since he doesn't go to school while her friends think that not good for Novisha to have Tyrell like that. Tyrell feels that Novisha should of stood up and said something since that his her man.
On the other hand Tyrell is getting tired of Novisha not giving him anything. So Tyrell goes over Jasmine's and like every night they spend the night together and Tyrell wants some tonight. But, Jasmine knows that Tyrell has a girl and doesn't give him anything, Tyrell and Jasmine though still get close.
Tyrell takes Troy to school one day and Tyrell and Troy's teacher talks to Tyrell. She tells him how she is planning to take Tyrell out of special education and put him in regular classes. While Tyrell is about to leave the teacher tell him to wait by the door and gives him some breakfast.
Dante comes and by so much food and gets Troy a brand new jacket and some boots. Dante also gets Tyrell's moms hair braided. Tyrell thinks that's wrong since Tyrell is suppose to be the man of the house and Dante is trying to get in the family and Tyrell doesn't want that.
Overall this book is very interesting and the detail is great and makes me keep reading. I can't wait to read and see what is going to happen now with the party Tyrell is planning for Saturday.

This book keeps getting better and better every time i pick it up and start to read it.
Well Tyrell is getting ready for his party on Saturday and Jasmine is helping him promote his party. Jasmine n Tyrell are going around Jasmine school and her old schools to promote the party since she knows everyone. Jasmine and Tyrell then stop by Emiliano's to get her dance clothes. Later on in the chapters Tyrell's mom goes to visit Tyrell's father in jail and she says how he is just going to be working at weddings and birthday party and she gets a little mad n sad because he not going to make the money as he use to make. She wants him to support the family but if he goes back to do the same as before he may get back in jail again because he is risking his life. Tyrell also talk about his father and what they use to do like play ball and have lots of fun with eachother. He sounds like a good guy. Tyrell wants Troy to have somebody there for him like a father's position but since his father is not here right now Tyrell is going to take the spot. That night Jasmine and Tyrell talk about their mistakes in life. Jasmine said she felt embarrassed today when she saw everyone from her old school becuase she was know for being a hoe. Tyrell said his mistake was looking up to his father becuase the mistakes he has made in his life and how he is in jail now and Tyrell doesn't want to be like that.
I agree with Josselyn this book is the best book I read. This book keeps having more and more new things. I can't wait to see how Tyrell's party goes and I can't wait just like Rozen to see if Tyrell's family is going to get out of EAU. But most important i can't wait to finish the book!

Tyrell is such an amazing an interesting book. I agree with Valeria I highly recommend it to readers. This book is full of detail and the author does a great job on the description. I didn't want to put the book down every time i read it.
Tyrell's party came and a lot happened then. Tyrell found out that his girlfriend Novisha was lying to him this whole entire time. She lied about being a virgin all dis time to him when Tyrell wanted some from her and she never gave it to him. Novisha lost it at bible camp. She did it with Jamal the guy in the book that gives Novisha letters in school. Also, Tyrell found out that Leon was a pimp and at his party he was making money too. Tyrell at the end of the day made two thousand dollars at his party.
Tyrell gets home and finds out that Troy wasn't home and he got a note from the guy down stairs before he came up too and the minute he walked in the door he knew what that letter was for. He finds out his mother leaves Troy in the middle of the night and that his mother abandoned him again and left off to Dante's. Tyrell gets very mad with this. What he heard from Novisha and everything and now with his mom and Troy. Tyrell jus packs up his things takes his money from the party and leaves the house. Eventually Tyrell and Jasmine catch up and Jasmine tells Tyrell what's going on in her life and how she is staying at Emiliano's but Tyrell also tells Jasmine about this whole thing that happen to him. Tyrell now in the book is free and on his own. Tyrell feels very bad about Troy because he cares for him so much and now Troy is in foster care. Tyrell is on his own and doesn't have to take care of anyone now on the other hand. Tyrell is a young free man now with no responsibilities to worry about.

He told him that he can never find a place to rent for one hundred fifty dollars and he told him to call Leon and he will help him find a place. Tyrell called Leon and he gave him a couple of places to chose from. Tyrell picked the parking lot for buses and they are really going to break in the place since Tyrell couldn't really afford anything. Leon is charging three hundred dollars for everything.

A lot of things happen at Tyrell's party. Tyrell discovers that Novisha was lying to him about being a virgin when she lost it when she was at bible camp. Jamal the person she lost it to was the person who has been sending her all those letters the whole time. Novisha didn't tell Tyrell and Tyrell was furious when he found out about this. Tyrell also found out that Leon was a pimp and that was the reason he had a lot of cash on him at all time. Leon was at Tyrell's party the whole time making money too. Tyrell made two thousand dollars from the party. When Tyrell came home Mr. Mendoza gave Tyrell a letter from ACS. Tyrell came to his room and found out that Troy wasn't there. He knew that she abandoned Troy again and that was the only reason why Troy has been put in foster care.
Overall this was a great book. It just keeps you reading and reading because every chapter in suspenseful and keeps you wondering

This is the best book that i have ever read. It kept me going thanks to its Tactions, suspense, and drama. This is one of the books that made me not put it down and stop reading. It was really Good !

as i kept reading i found all the answers to my questions. I even found out more than i thought would happen. For example A lot of things go down at Tyrell's party. He discovers that his girlfriend of a year and a half was lying to him the whole time about being a virgin. When she lost it at bible camp to Jamal. Jamalis the person she lost it to, who was also the person who has been sending her all those nasty letters the whole time. Novisha didn't tell that to Tyrell and Tyrell was furious when he found out about this.As the party went on ,Tyrell also found out that Leon was a pimp and that was the reason he had a lot of cash on him at all time. Leon was atthe party the whole time making money too. When Tyrell confronts him about it he says that thats how his dad made all that cash , doing the same thing he was doing. Tyrell was so mad that he just let it go and he went back to Dj.
On the way back home from the party Jasmine tells Tyrell how Emiliano told her that he has always been inlove with her , and that he would never force her to do anything with him if she moved in with him. Which meant that he wanted her to be his girlfriend , Tyrell was not okay with that so he just started to speak his mind to her. He asked her about her sister and she said she didnt want to stay with her and her boyfriend because her boyfriend always checks her out in a nasty way.After that they get on the train to go home but jsmine has to go to church to help her new boss since she got a job.
When Tyrell gets home he has two thousand dollars from the party. On his way up to the room, Mr. Mendoza gave Tyrell a letter from ACS. He read the letter whic made him really upset, he came to his room and found out that Troy wasn't there and he already knew what that letter was. Tyrell's mom was no where to be found and he knew that she abandoned Troy again and that was the only reason why Troy has been put in foster care. When Tyrell's mom came home, Tyrell knew that she had spent the night with Dante and he was furious how she left Troy alone in the middle of the night. Tyrell packed up all his belongings and left the room with the two thousands dollars in his pocket.
He was really angry , because he thought now that i have the money i dont have my brother. Now the money means nothing. He was also mad because his mother wanted him to go to curt and say it was his fault that Troy was left alone and Tyrell was not going for that. So he went to met Jasmine at the church and he told her everything that just happened.Jasmine started crying and saying poor Troy she also told him what she was planing to do about Emiliano because she had no other choice. When Tyrell asked why did Jasmine have to do that when Reyna should be responsible for her? Jasmine replied by saying that it isn't fairto her because Reyna is only her sister not her mother, she deserves her freedom since she has been taking care of her since she was eighteen. Tyrell understood that now because he doesn't have to take care of nobody but himself. He felt free at last. Not that he was happy that Troy was put in foster care, he was actually really tore up by that, but now he has no responsibility. Now, Tyrell is free to do anything he wants without having to worry about things that he shouldn't have.
